Hi there!

Good Morning Everyone!
I hope everyone is able to at least get some fresh air and sunshine while we are social distancing. I want all my students to know how much I miss them.  My hope is that all students with library books were able to take them home on Friday. Attached Are some suggestions for on line reading.

 I will be getting instructions on how we can all communicate and share stories. I brought some of our favorite read aloud home and would like to share on line, if possible. Stay tuned!

Ancestor Box Assignment

Good Evening,
For those students who are completing Ancestor Boxes to go with The King of Mulberry Street, the due date is Friday, March 21, 2014. Questions about the assignment can be posted here. I will post answers here so that we may all benefit! Have fun!

Happy Birthday, Dr. Seuss!!

We are honoring Dr. Seuss's birthday March 3-7 with a week long celebration! On Monday, we wore green in honor of ' How the Grinch Stole Christmas'. Tuesday, we celebrated 'Oh the Places You'll Go' by wearing shirts depicting places we have been or would like to visit. Based on the book, 500 Hats of Bartholomew Cubbins, we wore our favorite hats to school.  Thursday's theme is ' be kind to others', based on the book, 'Thidwick, the Big Hearted Moose'.  We cap off the week with a celebration of Dr. Seuss's most famous character, the cat in the hat.  Wear red, white, and black or dress as this famous feline!

Happy Summer! I hope everyone is enjoying the beautiful weather we have been experiencing.  Don't forget your summer reading during this time off, though.  If you misplaced your summer reading list, you may access it on the providenceschools.org website!
I have been learning some cool ways to use technolgy in the Library.  I can't wait to share what I've learned with you!
